This is more than a call handling role.

The opportunity

You'll be the first point of contact for patients, referrers and healthcare professionals, ensuring every interaction is professional, compassionate and efficient.

Working as part of our busy Referral Centre team, you'll coordinate appointments, respond to enquiries and help ensure patients receive the right appointment at the right time.

You'll play a vital role in supporting both our NHS and private diagnostic services, helping patients navigate their healthcare journey with confidence.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Answer patient enquiries by telephone and email with professionalism and empathy.
  • Schedule appointments across a range of diagnostic services.
  • Review referrals and ensure they are processed accurately.
  • Liaise with patients to find appointments that meet their individual needs.
  • Work closely with clinical and operational teams to maximise appointment availability.
  • Keep patient records accurate and up to date across multiple systems.
  • Respond to patient queries and resolve issues wherever possible.
  • Support the smooth running of patient pathways from referral through to diagnosis.
  • Help deliver an outstanding patient experience every day.
