We offer a wide range of services, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, DEXA scans, and ultrasound-guided steroid injections. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Brighton for a Radiography Department Assistant. In this role, you will provide support to the radiography team in delivering a safe and efficient imaging service. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assisting with preparing patients for imaging procedures
- Ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of equipment and rooms
- Supporting staff with patient care duties
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Assisting with the smooth flow of patients through the department
Qualifications:
- Training and experience in cannulation is essential for the role
- Proficiency in Manual Handling techniques to ensure the safe movement and assistance of patients
- Strong Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Experience in Patient Care, demonstrating compassion and attentiveness
- Familiarity with Health & Safety protocols in a healthcare environment
- Basic understanding and interest in Medicine and medical imaging processes
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide support in a dynamic, patient-focused environment
