The service operates as a predominantly adult-focused private outpatient service with a limited and clearly defined paediatric provision. The post holder is responsible for supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care within outpatient clinics under the direction of registered clinicians and within the boundaries of delegated competency, organisational policy, and professional standards. The post holder may be required to support other clinical departments in response to operational need, while maintaining service standards and regulatory compliance.
Main duties of the job
Scope of Role
The post holder will work under the supervision of registered nurses and clinicians, providing clinical and non-clinical support to ensure the smooth running of outpatient services. The post holder must work within the limits of their competence, training, and delegated responsibilities and must escalate any concerns relating to patient safety, deterioration, competence, or scope immediately to the Clinical Lead or Registered Manager. The post holder must not undertake any clinical activity unless trained, assessed as competent, and authorised to do so.
