We are currently recruiting for a Product Development Engineer role based in Worcester for our client who is set to become the leading developer of transformative hip arthroplasty solutions, whilst maintaining focus on the highest quality manufacturing.

As a Product Development Engineer, you'll be at the heart of a highly skilled Technical Department, working on the design and development of life-changing orthopaedic implants and instrumentation. From ideation to clinical implementation, your engineering insight will help shape safer, smarter, and more effective products. You'll also provide critical support for existing technologies, helping ensure every product meets rigorous user, commercial, and regulatory demands.

Additionally, you will be working alongside healthcare professionals, manufacturing teams, and quality and regulatory experts, bringing technical excellence and creative thinking to every stage of the product lifecycle. Whether it’s writing Design History Files, initiating laboratory testing, or turning feedback into innovation.

Ideally, you should have a degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical or related Engineering discipline. Minimum 2 years’ experience in orthopaedic or medical device product development. Experience with design tools like SolidWorks, and a solid grasp of manufacturing methods.
