We are partnering with a high precision engineering business supplying complex components into the medical and aerospace sectors. With continued investment in advanced machinery and automation, they are now looking to appoint an experienced CNC Programmer to support their growth.

This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of programming, setting and optimising multi-axis machining operations, working to extremely tight tolerances in a regulated environment.

The role:

  • Developing and proving out CNC programs across 3, 4 and 5 axis machines ensuring quality, efficiency and repeatability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Creating and optimising programs for complex components
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Selecting tooling, fixtures and machining strategies
  • Conducting first off inspection and supporting quality validation
  • Driving improvements in cycle time and machining efficiency

Experience required:

  • Strong experience in 3 or 5 axis CNC programming
  • Experience in medical, aerospace or precision engineering
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances and read detailed drawings
  • Strong understanding of tooling, feeds and speeds
