Dental Therapist in Port Talbot

Dental Elite are recruiting for a Dental Therapist to join a modern, predominantly NHS dental practice in Port Talbot, Wales.

This is a great opportunity to take over an established patient list within a fully digital practice, offering a self-employed rate of £35 per hour and excellent flexibility of 2–5 days per week. The practice would ideally like a Therapist confident working under Direct Access.

About the Role

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract: Self-employed

• Days: 2–5 days per week – minimum 2 days required

• Working Hours: 09:00–17:00

• Hourly Rate: £35 per hour

• Patient List: Established list in place

• Direct Access: Ideally confident working under Direct Access

• Experience: Minimum 4 months' experience required

Practice Details

• Practice Type: Approximately 90% NHS

• Surgeries: 2

• Software: Dentally

• Technology: iTero scanners, digital X-rays and rotary endodontics

• Facilities: Modern, fully digital practice

• Parking: Available

• Transport: Just off the M4 corridor, with train and bus stations approximately 10 minutes' drive away

• Location: Approximately 10 minutes' walk from the beach with local shops and amenities nearby

Requirements

• GDC Registration: Essential

• Qualification: Qualified Dental Therapist

• Experience: Minimum 4 months

• Direct Access: Experience/confidence working under Direct Access desirable

• Right to Work: Right to work in the UK
