Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) and Lebanon.

MAP produces periodic quantitative and qualitative reports to document program results, track indicators, and communicate impact to stakeholders and donors. To enhance clarity, consistency, analytical depth, and visibility of MAP’s value and investments, MAP seeks to engage a consultant to review and upgrade existing reporting templates and develop improved qualitative reporting tools.

Objective of the Consultancy

The overall objective of this consultancy is to:

  • Review and improve existing quantitative and qualitative reporting templates.
  • Standardize labeling and presentation of graphs, tables, and narrative sections.
  • Design new qualitative report templates that better capture outcomes, impact, and learning.
  • Develop a structured list of impact statements that clearly articulate MAP’s added value, achievements, and return on investment.

The consultancy duration will be three (3) months, starting June 2026 (totaling 45 workdays) ending August 2026.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

The consultant should meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in one of the following fields: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), Social Sciences, Development Studies, Communications, or a related relevant discipline.
  • Professional Experience: Substantial relevant professional experience in MEAL, development of reporting systems, designing and reviewing donor reports, and/or data analysis and data visualization. Demonstrated experience translating technical data into clear, compelling impact messaging. Proven experience working with International NGOs, development organizations, or donor-funded projects.
  • Skills and Attributes: Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Excellent written communication skills in English and Arabic. High attention to detail. Strong understanding of accountability, learning, and evidence-based programming. Experience developing organizational impact messaging strategies.
