Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. We are the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement in the occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon.

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Supporter Acquisition Officer to help lead MAP's supporter recruitment programme at a pivotal moment for our work. You'll take the lead on multi-channel acquisition campaigns spanning DRTV, inserts, press advertising and new product development β€” recruiting new cash, regular and Zakat givers to MAP β€” and play a central role in our integrated campaigns during Ramadan and winter. This is a role with real scope: you'll shape the strategic direction of our Individual Giving acquisition programme, lead the development of new regular giving products such as value exchange and lead generation, and build the processes that let our team deliver ambitious, high-impact campaigns. If you're a direct marketing or acquisition specialist who wants your skills to translate directly into lifesaving healthcare for Palestinians, this is your chance. As you will have seen from the role profile, this post requires a minimum of two days per week in our London office. MAP has a flexible working policy to support employees with additional needs, caring responsibilities etc. However, it will not be possible for this role to be completely remote.

About you

What you'll do:

  • Lead the delivery of regular giving and cash acquisition campaigns across DRTV, inserts, press and other channels, from briefing through to review.
  • Develop acquisition journeys for regular givers in collaboration with the supporter retention team.
  • Play a central role in high-profile integrated campaigns during Ramadan and winter.
  • Help shape the strategic direction and annual plan for MAP's Individual Giving acquisition programme.
  • Lead the development of new regular giving products, including value exchange and lead generation.
  • Build and run testing plans to identify and scale what works.
  • Improve internal and agency processes, including content sourcing and sign-off pipelines.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with media, print, fulfilment, telemarketing and creative agencies.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience managing Individual Giving campaigns, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets across channels such as print, TV, telemarketing and/or digital.
  • Strong project management skills, with confidence managing complex campaigns end-to-end.
  • A strong eye for creative and storytelling, with an understanding of dignified, response-driving creative.
  • Strong analytical skills β€” ability to turn data from multiple sources into clear, actionable reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience influencing and managing stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • A good understanding of GDPR and the Fundraising Code of Practice.
  • Experience in a charity, humanitarian or campaigning environment is a plus, but not essential.

Interviews will take place on Microsoft Teams.
