This is an exciting time to join the UK’s largest teleradiology company based in Hastings, East Sussex, who due to growth are looking for a team leader to join the busy NightHawk® service, the UK’s largest overnight teleradiology support function for the NHS. Working alongside the head of operations UK and acute operations manager, our NightHawk® team leader will be focused on leading, developing and supporting our NightHawk® administrators to continuously improve delivery of our acute service lines.
Key responsibilities:
- Actively assessing team members skillsets and deliver coaching and support to the team to enhance their capabilities.
- Working by exception across the board to ensure maximum positive impact per action completed.
- Delivering regular team meetings and setting performance actions, creating a performance led team with focus to improve KPI’s.
- Completing monthly 1-2-1’s with your team and supporting wellbeing.
- To build a strong cohesive team that is autonomous, giving a greater flexibility upon absence to absorb work from within as opposed to build backlogs.
- Pro-actively monitoring live service, taking action and liaising with other teams as required to ensure our clients receive the highest quality of service in line with agreed KPIs and performance metrics.
- Managing performance, tracking progress against targets, and communicating these to the team.
- Responsible for the initial induction and continuous training of team members to maintain high standards.
- Responsible for the management, development, and adherence to processes and documentation, including their continual improvement.
- Responsible for the creation and distribution of service handovers to the relevant stakeholders across the business.
Requirements:
- Ideally a minimum of a year of team leading experience.
- Ability to motivate, inspire and influence a team.
- Proficient in IT with good user knowledge of Microsoft systems and office suite.
- Ability to learn new IT systems quickly.
- Ability to coach and mentor new starters and existing team members.
- Experience in forecasting and rota planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivating team to achieve organisational goals.
- Evidence of working within a fast-paced environment.
