Location: Flexible working between home and Medica offices in Hastings or London
Salary: Starting at £24,570, rising to £25,220 after 6 months, and £25,720 after 1 year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (8.30am to 5.00pm)
About the Role
Medica Group is the market leader in teleradiology services across the UK and Ireland. Our Clinical Governance Team is dedicated to the pursuit of clinical excellence, ensuring continuous quality monitoring and assurance for the Medica Board. As a Clinical Governance Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting clinical governance processes, working collaboratively with Senior Management, Service Delivery, Information Security & Risk Teams, NHS clients, reporters, doctors, and radiographers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and a commitment to high standards in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer internal and client audit processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain and update databases, extract data, and prepare reports using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Manage report discrepancies and queries on Insight and manual logs
- Prepare documents for clinical governance Subcommittees and Committees, including efficient meeting output recording and minute-taking
- Assist with Designated Body processes for connected doctors
- Respond to approved work requests from line manager and clinical governance colleagues
- Support the Group Chief Medical Officer as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly skilled in Microsoft 365 Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experienced in managing electronic information and databases
- Detail-oriented, with a strong administration background and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to manage inboxes, handle phone calls, and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Adaptable, with good emotional intelligence and initiative
- Committed to good patient care and continuous improvement
Desirable:
- Experience in clinical administration (independent healthcare, NHS, or medicolegal)
- Knowledge of RIS, PACS, and patient medical records
- Experience in minute-taking and managing committee papers
