What you’ll do:
- Receive and book in casework; unpack stock and manage uplift/collections
- Scan slides using the P1000 and manage images in Sectra PACS
- Perform quality checks to recognised procedures; resolve discrepancies
- Keep the lab safe, tidy and compliant; complete routine equipment checks
- Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients and pathologists to meet clinical requirements
- Work in line with ISO 15189 (and where applicable ISO 27001/9001), GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, Caldicott Principles and the Human Tissue Act 2004
About you:
- Meticulous, with excellent attention to detail and strong admin/IT (MS Office) skills
- Comfortable in a small team and working independently; clear written and verbal communication
- Nice to have: awareness of digital pathology/histology, lab experience, medical scanning exposure, and/or familiarity with ISO 15189 environments
