Medica is seeking a dynamicLead Biomedical Scientistto join our growing Pathology team at our state-of-the-art hub in Runcorn.
About the Role
As our Lead BMS, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality digital and glass telepathology services. You’ll manage a small but mighty team, drive operational excellence, and collaborate across departments to ensure we meet and exceed client expectations.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll:

Oversee lab operations including specimen reception, scanning, and quality control.

Lead and mentor a team of Digital Pathology Assistants.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards (15189, 27001, 9001).

Troubleshoot lab issues and manage client queries.

Contribute to exciting projects including AI integration and wet-lab expansion.
