We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Speech & Language Therapists for various roles across multiple NHS Trusts. These positions are ideal for therapists with specialized skills in Dysphagia, Communication Disorders, and Neuro-rehabilitation.
As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy for adults with a range of communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure effective treatment plans are in place., * Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ communication and swallowing disorders.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for patients.

Provide both direct and indirect therapy to patients in various settings including acute care and neuro-rehabilitation.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to manage and improve patient care.

Support and train other healthcare professionals in swallowing and communication techniques.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Manage a varied caseload effectively, ensuring patients receive timely care and rehabilitation.

HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) Registration as a Speech & Language Therapist.

Experience in adult communication and swallowing disorders.

Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and independently.

Experience with caseload management.

Proven ability to work under pressure in a clinical environment., * Neuro-rehabilitation experience (Required for specific positions).

FEES (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) experience (Essential for some roles).

Tracheostomy management and ICU experience (Desirable for specific roles).

Experience with patients who have complex communication needs (Desirable for roles in neuro-rehabilitation and stroke units).

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (Required).

At least 1 year’s experience working with adults with acquired swallowing and communication disorders (Required for certain positions).

Band 6 or Band 7/8A (Depending on experience and role).

Weekend and night shift opportunities with additional pay rates (Night/Saturday/Sunday rates apply in some locations).
