Quality Systems Specialist Medical Devices | Hybrid working
This is a position for someone who has the desire to grow fast and be surrounded by a strong QARA team, where a few years working here will see you with senior capabilities to take forward in your career. You’ll be joining a small, dynamic medical device company where you’re close to decisions, projects and senior people. Two years here will give you exposure, confidence and credibility that’s hard to get in bigger, slower organisations.
Why this role stands out
- Small company = real responsibility across the full QMS
- Strong QARA team around you to learn from and develop with
- Exposure to audits, suppliers, CAPA and QMS improvements from day one
- Hybrid working (typically 3 days onsite, 2 from home)
The role
You’ll sit on the Quality Systems side with a focus on keeping the QMS running well while also improving it. Day to day, you’ll be:
- Owning and driving CAPA – chasing actions, managing investigations and spotting trends
- Supporting and conducting internal and supplier audits
- Managing change controls, concessions and procedure updates
- Getting involved in supplier quality work, including overseas suppliers
This is a role where you’re trusted to own your area, not wait to be told what to do.
What they’re looking for...
They’re far more interested in attitude and potential than a perfect CV. You’ll likely have:
- Medical device quality experience
- Strong hands-on CAPA experience
- Some audit exposure (internal or supplier – assisting or conducting)
- A solid understanding of QMS “bread and butter” work
Supplier quality experience is useful but not essential if your CAPA experience is strong.
The kind of person who thrives here
- Proactive, organised and naturally takes ownership
- Rolls sleeves up and gets stuck in
- Doesn’t need chasing, you update others before they ask
- Enjoys working as part of a close, collaborative team
- Wants to learn, improve and move their career forward quickly
If this has caught your interest, then please apply with an up to date CV and I will be in touch.
