Medibeam are supporting an innovative Medical Technology business that develops products sold internationally. This company has been in a huge growth phase, driven by popular products they are now expanding into new markets and looking for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to strengthen their regulatory capability and ensure products meet global compliance standards. This isn’t a job where you’ll just sit reviewing documents all day. You’ll be part of a small regulatory team where your input actually shapes how products reach customers globally. If you enjoy being close to the product, working with different teams and seeing things launch properly, you’ll probably like this one.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll sit right between regulatory, product and commercial teams helping the company grow safely and compliantly.
- A typical week might include things like:
- Helping shape regulatory strategy as products move into new international markets
- Advising product and engineering teams during development
- Making sure packaging, artwork and claims are compliant before products go live
- Reviewing IFUs, manuals and product documentation
- Supporting ongoing compliance as products scale globally
- Navigating regulations across regions like the UK, EU, US and other international markets
The business moves quickly, so this role suits someone who understands the balance between regulatory rigour and commercial reality.
What they’re looking for:
- Someone who enjoys being hands on and part of a growing company rather than hidden in a huge corporate structure.
- You’ll likely have:
- Experience in regulatory affairs within medical devices, consumer health or cosmetics.
- Knowledge of regulations such as EU MDR, or global device frameworks
- Confidence working with product, marketing and engineering teams
- Degree in life sciences, engineering, regulatory affairs or similar.
What’s in it for you:
- A company that is actually growing, not just saying it is
- Products that are already selling globally
- Exposure to multiple regulatory markets
- A chance to influence how regulatory is done rather than inheriting something rigid
They do value people being around the team, so the expectation is four days onsite each week. There’s free parking and the office environment is something they’ve invested heavily in, but if site based work doesn’t work for you, this wouldn’t be the right organisation.
