This is a company where everything happens under one roof, raw materials in, sheet metal, welding, CNC machining, assembly, testing. That means there is a chance to influence at every stage, from incoming inspection through to testing, compliance, and continuous improvement.
They’re now looking for a Quality, Health & Safety Manager with a strong multi-process manufacturing background to join the team on a permanent basis. As Quality, Health & Safety Manager, you’ll take ownership of standards across the manufacturing site, leading quality and safety activity in a fast moving, hands on environment. You’ll lead a small but capable team of Quality and QHSE Engineers, setting direction and driving KPIs across quality, health, safety and environmental performance.
As Quality Health and Safety Manager you’ll:
- Act as the key point of contact for customer complaints & supplier issues.
- Assess and improve Health & Safety across the shop floor.
- Deliver toolbox talks and provide day-to-day guidance on quality and safety matters.
- Support supplier performance, PPAP requirements and new product introduction.
- Work with operations on risk assessments, FMEAs, risk management plans and SOPs.
Salary: £60–65k depending on experience
Onsite five days a week
Early finish every Friday (1:30pm)
Occasional travel to a second site, but home base stays the same
