You would manage tech projects for a variety of clients, supporting development teams to deliver high-quality projects on-time and within budget. You would need to have solid experience managing tech projects, a solid understanding of best practices in project management principles, and a passion for coordinating teams for strong commercial results.
Note: We work from the office 3 days per week and are based near the Metro Centre in Gateshead.
The role
- Owning and managing multiple projects from initiation to delivery.
- Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Ensuring deliverables align with client objectives and adhering to agency standards.
- Conducting regular project status meetings and providing transparent updates.
- Proactively addressing client concerns and adapting project plans as necessary.
- Coordinating cross-functional resources, including developers, designers, and digital marketers.
- Monitoring project progress, resolving issues and mitigating risks proactively.
- Creating and presenting post-project reports, including performance metrics and lessons learned.

The person
- Ideally you would have 3+ years experience as a web dev Project Manager, ideally within an agency environment and with certifications such as Prince 2 & Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing services, the software development life cycle as well as web, app, and other digital platform technologies.
- Proven experience with Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Jira (desirable).
- Excellent organisation skills, able to manage tasks and priorities well and multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong communication skills, able to negotiate and solve problems collaboratively, conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A highly commercial approach, experienced in managing, delivering, and scaling successful projects.
- And fantastic if you also have knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira.
- Experience working in a dynamic agency environment and/or for public sector organisations.
- A great attitude and willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team spirit.
- A passion to train and share skills with other team members and departments.
