We're looking for a talented and ambitious mid-weight Full Stack Web Developer to join our growing development team. This role is ideal for someone with strong agency experience who's confident delivering high-quality websites and digital experiences across both front-end and back-end technologies. You will work closely with developers, UX designers, strategists, project managers, and clients to deliver performant, scalable, and user-focused websites and applications. The role requires a strong understanding of modern front-end development alongside experience integrating and extending CMS platforms and APIs. Note: We work from the office 3 days per week and are based near the Metro Centre in Gateshead.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining responsive, accessible, and high‑performing websites
- Working across the full development lifecycle, from technical scoping through to deployment
- Integrating CMS platforms, APIs, and third‑party systems
- Collaborating with designers and UX teams to deliver pixel‑perfect implementations
- Supporting technical discovery, estimation, and solution design activities
- Troubleshooting and resolving bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges
- Contributing to code reviews, development standards, and best practices
- Working collaboratively within agile project teams
- Supporting junior developers where required

To be successful you’ll need:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a web development role in a similar environment
- Experience developing and integrating CMS‑driven websites including WordPress and Umbraco
- Familiarity with Git version control workflows
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage workload across multiple projects
Ideally you’ll have:
- Experience with headless CMS solutions
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Understanding of build tools and modern deployment workflows
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms
- Understanding of SEO and technical performance best practices
