We are on the look out for our next Paid Media Executive who would be based in our Newcastle Head Office. You will assist in the creation and day to day management of performance marketing campaigns for a wide variety of clients across multiple industries.
THE ROLEWe have the perfect opportunity to work alongside our experienced performance marketing team, learning all about digital marketing while gaining exposure to a variety of channels including paid search, social, display, video and affiliate marketing. As a paid media executive, you will be responsible for supporting our performance marketing consultants in the day‑to‑day running of accounts. This will enable you to gain a comprehensive understanding of advertising platforms such as Google and Meta to deliver excellent operational best practices, performance optimisations, media/performance planning, reporting and analysis.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting the performance marketing consultants with day‑to‑day campaign activation, optimisation, reporting and market research.
- Carrying out daily performance monitoring and optimisations in‑line with Mediaworks clearly defined paid approach.
- Managing, optimising and growing your own portfolio of client accounts.
- Supporting with client reporting of media performance across channels, ensuring that work produced is timely and insightful, as to provide clear actionable insights.
- Contributing to client servicing via weekly status and reporting calls.
- Development of high quality proposal documents for internal and client meetings.
- Contribute and deliver regular knowledge share sessions to demonstrate understanding of emerging topics, trends or product updates within the industry.

THE PERSONIdeally you’ll have:
- A degree in marketing, business or mathematics related subject is preferred, but all academic backgrounds will be considered.
- Heaps of initiative and a self‑starter attitude.
- A high standard of written and spoken English.
- An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong time management, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A commercially focused approach with a strong analytical mind.
- Excellent attention to detail, and naturally thorough and accurate.
