We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our internal marketing team in Newcastle. This is a broad B2B marketing role for someone who understands the market, spots opportunities in data, research and industry trends, and can turn them into campaigns that build the Mediaworks brand and generate demand.

You’ll work closely with teams across Mediaworks, including Growth, Sales, Strategy, Creative, SEO, Paid Media and Client Services.

The role

  • Developing campaigns around client challenges, market trends and industry opportunities
  • Using data and research to uncover stories, insights and campaign ideas
  • Producing thought leadership, reports, whitepapers, blogs, social content and campaign assets
  • Taking campaigns to market across social, digital, events and other relevant channels
  • Building activity that strengthens the Mediaworks brand and generates leads and commercial opportunities
  • Managing campaign plans, timelines, briefs and delivery across internal teams
  • Supporting events, webinars and masterclasses from initial idea through to promotion and follow-up
  • Reviewing performance and using the results to improve future campaigns
  • Working with subject matter experts across the business to turn their knowledge into strong market-facing content

The person

We’re looking for someone with strong B2B marketing experience who can move comfortably between strategy and delivery. You’ll need to be a strong writer, a good organiser and commercially minded enough to understand how marketing activity should contribute to leads, pipeline and business growth.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a B2B marketing role
  • Strong content, campaign and copywriting skills
  • Experience producing reports, whitepapers, blogs, social content and wider campaign assets
  • An understanding of digital marketing, demand generation and performance reporting
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to use data and insight to improve marketing activity
  • A genuine interest in what’s happening across marketing, digital, technology and the industries our clients operate in

Based from our Newcastle head office with hybrid working, you’ll join a team with a broad remit and plenty of opportunity to shape how we market Mediaworks.
