We are looking for a Freelance Paid Search Specialist who balances technical expertise with a collaborative mindset. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with operations to align on strategy, drive qualified leads, and ensure our collective efforts maximise ROI for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage high-performing PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and potentially Paid Social (Meta/LinkedIn).
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting.
- Write compelling ad copy, test headlines/CTAs, and manage ad creative execution.
- Monitor budgets, bids, and campaign pacing, ensuring efficient spend.
- Track and analyse key metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, Quality Score) using Google Analytics (GA4).
- Provide and advise on sophisticated media plans with strong market insights and clear planning logic.
- Ability to drive upsell opportunities and strengthen storytelling within media plans.
- Provide regular performance reports and actionable optimisation recommendations.
- Stay updated on platform changes, trends, and new beta features.
You’re probably a match if
- Proven experience (10+ years) with cross-region paid search strategies and growth plans for global clients.
- Deep expertise in Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping) and Microsoft Advertising.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics 4.
- Experience with remarketing, feed-based ads (Shopping), and performance max campaigns.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Google Ads Certifications (Search, Shopping) are a plus.
