Overview
MediaTek Cambourne, England, United Kingdom. This is a great opportunity to become part of MediaTek’s highly experienced global RF team working on state-of-the-art 5G and 6G RF products in advanced CMOS processes.
Your responsibilities will include the design, implementation and verification of key analog and RF circuit blocks for 5G and 6G RF ICs such as filters, low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers or PLLs. You will have the opportunity to work on different parts of the RF transceiver systems over time and have access to mentoring by very experienced RF designers.

- Work on different parts of RF transceiver systems over time.
- Collaborate with experienced RF designers and participate in mentoring opportunities.
Qualifications
- MEng/MSc/PhD degree (graduating in 2026) in Electronic Engineering with modules covering analog or RF integrated circuit design.
- Experience with CMOS analog or RF integrated circuit design.
- Good understanding of IC layout and manufacturing process.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work both in a team and autonomously.
- Able to communicate effectively with people across different time zones and cultures.
- An innovative thinker with a passion for challenging technical problem solving.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Cadence Analog Design Environment.
- Experience with EM simulation tools.
- Experience with RF measurement equipment.
- Knowledgeable of RF system specification concepts such as NF, IP3, IP2.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills.
Location
Our UK RF Design Team is located in Maidstone, Kent and Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. Locations offer living environments in traditional rural villages or local towns, with outstanding schools nearby. Both Maidstone and Cambourne are within about an hour of central London and main London airports. You will have the option to choose to work in either location.
