As part of the Serviceplan Group, Mediaplus UK is an independent media planning & buying agency which was founded in 1982 with a mission to shake up a network-dominated industry. Over 40 years on and we are still proudly independent, however, we have grown in size with over 160 employees across 3 UK offices in London, Manchester and Birmingham, as well as having our own behavioural consultancy, Behave.

We are the only media agency built on the principles of behavioural science. We combine best-in-class media, data & research to deliver authentic, creative and effective media solutions that address the real influences on people’s behaviour.

We work across the full spectrum of media planning and buying services, with fantastic teams dedicated to everything from client leadership and media planning/activation to SEO and influencer marketing as well as advanced data solutions.

The role

The Senior Media Executive supports the central account team in coordinating client requests, local market inputs, reporting tasks and operational follow-ups. The role is responsible for collecting, harmonising, validating and maintaining media performance and competitive data across multiple international markets, ensuring that data from different sources and formats is cleaned, classified and consolidated into standardised master files and dashboards, supporting accurate reporting and market-level analysis.

  • Help update central reporting tools and dashboards
  • Support research and data-collection tasks

Financial governance and budget management

  • Ensure accurate collection, validation and reporting of market investment data
  • Support the development of budget tracking tools, templates and dashboard solutions

  • Support central media-planning tasks, including preparing media plans, coordinating briefings and liaising with publishers for central campaigns

Team and knowledge sharing

  • Share best practices, processes and learnings across accounts and markets
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of team operations and client services

Client services and market coordination

  • Support client-service activities by preparing meeting materials, creating slides, taking meeting notes and tracking next steps
  • Coordinate ad hoc requests from the central client, such as budget overviews, campaign updates or market feedback rounds
  • Coordinate onboarding processes for local agencies, partners and new stakeholders, managing access requests and keeping shared platforms such as SharePoint up to date.
  • Help organise client workshops, agency check-ins and market meetings, ensuring agendas, materials and follow-ups are prepared and shared on time
  • Create and maintain central trackers covering local KPIs, media activities and campaign status

Required skills and experience

  • Around 1.5 - 3 years of experience in a media agency, advertising agency, marketing team or client-service environment
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several workstreams, deadlines and stakeholders at the same time
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working with international teams and can follow up clearly and professionally with local agencies, internal teams and clients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel; experience with SharePoint, Google Sheets, reporting dashboards or digital media platforms is beneficial.
  • Proactive, reliable and service-oriented mindset, with the confidence to ask questions, flag issues early and help keep projects moving
  • Ideally, passionate about coffee as an industry.

We are committed to diversity & inclusion and providing equal opportunities for everyone. We are dedicated to ensuring our processes are free from any form of discrimination or bias, right from the application process to life as part of the Mediaplus UK team.
