We are seeking a Corporate Development and Partnerships Manager, who will play a pivotal role in driving MediaKind’s growth through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic industry partnerships. This dual mandate involves both the execution of M&A strategies and expanding the reach of MediaKind’s products by fostering key industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive strategic identification and evaluation of potential acquisition targets, partnerships, and investment opportunities to enhance corporate growth and market positioning.
- Develop and utilise extensive industry networks and analytical tools to source high quality deals aligned with company objectives.
- Serve as an ambassador to the industry on behalf of MediaKind.
- Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies to engage industry leaders and potential partners, fostering relationships that facilitate collaboration opportunities aligned with company strategic objectives.
- Provide structure and organisation to the partnerships organisation by facilitating contract review, assembling presentation decks, and ensuring accountability across internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and recommend scalable processes and structures that reduce friction in the onboarding and maintenance of strategic partnerships.
- Create robust analyses, including dynamic excel models, to evaluate financial value of prospective partnership or acquisition targets.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an internationally-leading institution.
- Experience: At least 8+ years of work experience, preferably in Consulting, Investment Banking, or Corporate Development.
- Comfortable with ambiguity: Strong ability to navigate uncertain situations without clear “right answers” and provide recommendations supported by concise reasoning and clearly stated assumptions.
- Analytical in nature, but narratively minded: A strong candidate will complement robust, fact-based analysis with the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively with both internal and external parties.
- Action-oriented: Must be a true “self starter”, setting ambitious goals and laying out clear plans to achieve them.
- Tenacious: As a deal-driven role, there is a requirement for flexibility during periods of high activity.
