MediaHQ is continuing to expand its presence in the North West of England and is looking for a commercially sharp, well-connected Fractional Commercial Growth Lead to help strengthen regional traction, relationships and commercial growth.

This is a fractional, hands-on strategic business development role focused on helping MediaHQ build stronger visibility, open the right commercial doors and deepen relationships across the North West PR and communications market.

We are looking for someone embedded in the regional PR and communications community with a strong network, trusted industry relationships and a track record of helping businesses build momentum through strategic introductions, partnerships and commercially valuable connections.

MediaHQ is a media relations platform used by in-house communications teams and PR agencies to build media lists, distribute press releases and measure engagement. We have an established customer base in Ireland and are now focused on building a stronger and more structured commercial presence in the North West.

Our core customers are junior to mid-level PR Agency and In-House communications professionals who manage media relations, send press releases and pitch stories to journalists. Many are still operating with manual systems or fragmented tools and are ready for a smarter, more disciplined approach.

This role is focused on helping MediaHQ establish meaningful regional traction. That includes:

  • opening the right commercial and industry doors,
  • identifying strategic partnership opportunities,
  • supporting regional lead generation activity,
  • representing MediaHQ at relevant events, conferences and industry gatherings,
  • identifying and securing speaking opportunities,
  • helping strengthen regional visibility and credibility,
  • building relationships across the regional PR and communications community,
  • supporting the commercial team with strategic business development activity,
  • and helping maintain momentum and commercial follow-through across the region.

You will work closely with the CEO and commercial team, alongside our existing sales development support, helping ensure a commercially focused and relationship-driven regional growth strategy.

We are looking for someone with:

  • a strong North West PR and communications network,
  • trusted industry relationships,
  • strong commercial instinct,
  • confidence representing MediaHQ externally,
  • experience supporting commercial growth or business development activity,
  • and a pragmatic, action-oriented approach.

You should be comfortable operating in an early-stage growth environment, understand how momentum is built regionally and be able to combine strategic thinking with practical commercial support.

This role will initially require approximately 1 day per week on a fixed monthly retainer, with scope to increase over time as regional traction and commercial momentum develop.
