Role Summary and Impact
Reporting into the AV Senior Executive or Account Manager, the AV Account Executive role is to support the AV team in the day-to-day running of client campaigns. An eagerness to learn and understand the principles of the TV market is imperative, along with a basic understanding of cinema and the wider video landscape. You will be responsible for a range of tasks within the AV department, largely centred around administering and buying of TV, VOD. A gradual understanding of the AV tools necessary for the job – TechEdge, BARB, MediaOcean, MScreen, OneAV Planner, the OMA & OMS systems – will be gained via on-the-job training along with more structured training sessions.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Accurate campaign set up and activation.
- Preparation and sending out of weekly TV spot times to clients.
- Ensure best practice buying approach across all the accounts you work on, utilising the One AV approach.
- Being on top of buying admin is imperative i.e., ensure accuracy of numbers and reporting by ensuring reconciliations are agreed and up to date and the central rec tracker is accurate.
- Ensure accurate spends in TVP/DM.
- Support on response to briefs from the Planning Department.
- Input on competitive analysis reports for clients.
- Input into client PCA’s and reports for the clients you work on.
- Ensure all financial procedures are adhered to, and your accounts are SOX compliant.
- Generally, support your manager in any ad hoc requests that come into the department.
