Role Summary and Impact
Digital Planner, buying role, supporting the ITV account. The successful candidate will drive innovation and execute best‑in‑class paid media strategies across social, programmatic, search and other paid channels. The position focuses on building ITV’s presence as a go‑to source for streaming content, supporting both brand and conversion objectives for key programs such as Love Island, Big Brother and Euro events.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management
- Develop detailed paid social media plans aligned with client objectives and KPIs.
- Set up end‑to‑end paid social campaigns across platforms, applying best practices for targeting, creative and budgeting.
- Collaborate with the activation team to optimise performance and pacing to meet desired outcomes.
- Troubleshoot and optimise campaigns in real‑time to improve results.
- Produce accurate weekly/monthly performance reports in Excel, providing insight and recommendations.
- Identify trend insights and recommend actions to capitalise or mitigate as necessary.
- Assist with end‑of‑campaign reporting, quarterly reviews and other analytical deliverables.
- Support strategic planning across other digital channels, working with the account director on RTBs, testing and reviews.
- Collaborate closely with team and line manager to deliver high‑quality work to clients.
- Participate in client calls and build trusted relationships as part of the marketing team.
- Engage with platforms through training sessions to enhance paid social skillset.
- Become the go‑to contact within the digital planning team and across the account.
- Manage time effectively across multiple projects.
- Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders via email, chat, video and in‑person.
- Attend internal meetings and training sessions to contribute to a collaborative paid social community.
- Mentor junior teammates when needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely fulfilment of agency finance processes.
Skills and Experience
