You’ll be working alongside the events and marketing team to help deliver high profile events for flagship brands. This role offers a breadth of experience and opportunity working across media platforms including events, magazines and digital.

Details of Role

MediaClash is a Bath-based publisher and event organiser. This role is working within its in-house events and marketing team to deliver events and campaigns across Bath and Bristol.

This varied role will involve the following responsibilities:

  • Liaising with event contractors, agreeing contracts
  • Managing events including set-up, customer service and delivery
  • Creating visual content (video and presentations) for live events
  • Booking venues/travel/accommodation for events
  • Budget responsibility tracking revenues and controlling costs
  • Booking event features such as centrepieces, décor, entertainment, hosts
  • Booking photographers/videographers
  • Creating collateral for events such as name badges and handouts
  • Organising judging panels for awards
  • Organising and promoting regular networking events
  • Creating table plans, gathering attendee details and liaising with guests/sponsors
  • Setting up ticketing on event websites
  • Devising contra agreements with suppliers for goods and services
  • Writing/editing event scripts
  • Researching and booking speakers
  • Coming up with creative concepts
  • Creating contracts and account managing event sponsors
  • Internal communications about events
  • Front of house and networking at MediaClash-owned and 3rd party events
  • Organising AV requirements for live events
  • Agreeing event menus, schedules
  • Seating plans, 100-700 guests
  • Writing and giving staff briefings
  • Event admin such as labels, ordering equipment
