ABOUT THE ROLE
The fast-growing Paid Social arm of our Media team is looking for an Associate Account Director to oversee a large Financial Services client, whose business objectives cover brand awareness and the acquisition of new business credit card accounts. The perfect candidate will have strong experience working on both brand and performance (direct-response) clients through key channels such as Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit and TikTok, with other channels such as Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat and others being a plus. Experience in working with Financial Services clients is valued. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who is looking to be the expert on all things Paid Social for both our client and internal planning team. Whilst the client is well-established, so the role is ideal for someone who is able to create and implement processes and best practices.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Being a source of expertise in Biddable Media – particularly Paid Social (Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn/TikTok/Reddit and other) – for the wider business and our clients.
- Own and help optimise client’s budget across platforms.
- Define and implement the test and learn roadmap for both Brand and Acquisition campaigns, working with internal planning teams.
- Conduct media planning to ensure campaign activations are fit for purpose.
- Conduct in-depth and complex data analysis and translate these into campaign optimisations, ensuring that we are delivering results as per the client’s KPIs.
- Join weekly planning & reporting status meeting.
- Own the quarterly business review meetings with the client, with the support of AM/AEs.
- Effectively manage teams and projects end to end.
- Drive team learnings and skillset development.
- Roll out new platform tests whilst ensuring client’s KPIs are met.
- Spot new opportunities and innovate.
- Own and manage other out of scope activations.
- Support the AM and AE with the daily account management.
- Support the AM and AE with finance tasks.
- Support with pitches and new business.
ABOUT YOU
Essential Experience and qualifications:
- Experienced in working with both brand and performance clients. Financial Services client experience is desirable, but not compulsory.
- Experience working with Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter ad platforms. Other platforms are desirable.
- Ability to lead and build strong client relationships without any support from others in the agency.
- Efficient communication and co-ordination of multiple stakeholders (agency, client, media owner) is necessary.
- Ruthless test and learn approach to demonstrate performance improvements.
- Complex understanding and experience with native platform and 3rd party brand and conversion lift studies, and A/B tests.
- Ability to communicate results and learnings effectively to highlight performance and measurable impact.
- Creative optimisation and understanding of potential impact when creative optimisation is prioritised within the media mix.
- Desire to remain hands on with set up and optimisation across campaigns.
- Commercially focused and a growth mind set, with experience in growing an account with examples.
- Strong knowledge of other digital channels and disciplines, such as affiliates, SEO and display.
