Sponsorship Sales Manager – Middle East Event Location: London – International Travel Salary: £50,000 + Uncapped OTE 30-40k+ My client is a young & innovative events business renowned for hosting one of the biggest Retail Events of its kind in the Middle East. The event is a C-level content-driven networking event, which will examine the strategies retailers need to employ to remain relevant against the backdrop of digital disruption and rising customer expectations. The Role: Generate sponsorship leads, primarily by self-sourcing. Engage those prospects using a combination of approaches (social media, e-mail, telephone calls). Sell to those prospects and convert them into customers (combination of e-mail, telephone calls, face-to-face meetings & sponsorship proposals). Work closely with marketing to generate outbound communication material to generate leads (across both social media and e-mail). Work closely with your event producer to build session content & format that will appeal to your prospects/clients. Run an effective campaign to book those candidates onto the appropriate combination of products in the portfolio. Co-ordinate the delivery of our services and the on-site experience for each of your clients. Ideal Candidate Profile: Consultative selling style. A genuine sense of curiosity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Appropriate character traits (resilience, intelligence, determination, resourcefulness, adaptability, capable of thinking outside of the box). Strong questioning, objection-handling & negotiation skills. A demonstrable track record of educating prospects, tailoring propositions to prospects’ requirements and taking control of interactions with prospects. Ability to build a strong relationship with all other functions in the business. Solid attention to detail. Interested?
