My client is a world-leading research & events business with innovation and expertise within the life sciences industry, empowering professionals to accelerate research and achieve impactful results through cutting-edge, curated events, industry insights, and educational resources.

Running events in Europe, USA, and Asia for over 15 years, they have recently expanded their presence in the US. Following the launch of a Boston branch, they are looking for candidates to start their production career and those with relevant industry experience.

As a Conference Producer, you’ll undertake commercially oriented, extensive market research with key industry leaders to develop the content for our conference programmes, as well as recruit speakers and work cross-functionally to drive the success of each event. Responsibilities
  • Conduct phone-based, in-person & desk research to understand key market trends & topics to shape the conference agendas
  • Source & invite senior-level industry leaders to speak on the conference programme
  • Write copy for the website, brochure & emails to influence the target audience to attend the events
  • Brief the marketing and sales teams on the event to help drive conference revenue
  • Provide conference production support for the Director on a portfolio of life science conferences
  • Support the on-day delivery of marketing content, including webinars and video Q&As
  • Data entry and database admin to maintain up-to-date records
  • Attend conferences and, alongside other team members, perform all event management tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the event
We are looking for someone with:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in the life sciences
  • A naturally inquisitive, analytical mind, with excellent research skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with an eye for detail
  • Good verbal & written communication skills, with a willingness to undertake phone-based research & the ability to convey and articulate complex concepts in an easily digestible manner
  • The ability to work independently and with others in the campaign team
