Commercial Sponsorship Sales Manager – Saudi Event

1-3 Years experience – Graduate also considered

SALARY: £ Up to 40,000 + Uncapped OTE + Benefits

London (3 days)

My client is a young & well backed launch looking to put a series of events together across the Tech space, the key first phase of growth is for a talented Commercial Sponsorship Sales Manager to work on a mixture of new business & existing accounts, this event is regarded as one of the best already in its space & will involve selling Sponsorship Solutions & Turnkey Exhibition space.

The Candidate…needs to be someone established and ambitious individual to drive the sales efforts nationally, must be self-motivated and with demonstrable experience in exceeding sales targets and in inspiring others to do so as the business grows.

Who you are:

  • 1-3years minimum of selling Conference Sponsorship/Expo/Exhibition packages
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic and ambitious
  • Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data-driven approach to making strategic decisions
  • Ability to work with other function leaders (management, content, marketing etc) to deliver overarching commercial strategy Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proven business and strategic acumen

Responsibilities:

  • Manage personal timeto deliver against KPIs/targets
  • Ownership of all plans and strategies in your area of business development, pursuant to the company’s commercial goals
  • Develop the sales plan
  • Prepare forecasts and reporting for management for use in strategic planning and budget setting
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty
  • Maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand
  • Maintain consistently high levels of productive sales activity, including cold calls, face to face meetings, presentations, social and email outreach

** Some international travel would be expected including the event itself in Saudi Arabia
