My client is seeking an experienced Senior IT Operations Professional to join their team and support technology infrastructure and operations in the EMEA and APAC regions. Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, this role will play a crucial part in maintaining and optimizing our IT systems and services to support our mission of driving technology adoption and best practices in the mobility industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Infrastructure Management
- Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and storage systems, to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software across offices in EMEA and AsiaPac regions.
- Implement and maintain system security and data protection measures.
- Perform regular system monitoring, maintenance, and updates.
- Operations Support
- Provide advanced technical support for day-to-day operations, including escalated help desk issues, system administration, and network troubleshooting.
- Execute IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Serve as technical liaison with local contractors and vendors providing IT services or products.
- Assist in evaluating IT equipment and services, providing technical input for procurement decisions.
- Support vendor relationship management and performance evaluation.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical implementations and support activities.
- Project Support
- Contribute to IT projects and initiatives, such as system upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
- Provide technical expertise and hands-on implementation support for project deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support the implementation and rollout of new IT systems.
- Business Unit Support
- Provide technical support and consultation to business units in EMEA/AsiaPac regions.
- Work with business unit staff to understand their technical requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Escalate complex issues and requirements to the Director of IT Operations and central IT teams.
- Ensure technical solutions align with business needs and central IT standards.
- Technical Leadership
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior IT staff.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Contribute technical input to strategic planning discussions.
- Support knowledge transfer and training initiatives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT operations, with demonstrated expertise in enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong technical skills in server administration, network management, and system security.
- Experience with cloud technologies, virtualization, and enterprise applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.
