My client is a business intelligence organisation that specialises in data intelligence and establishing communities of key opinion leaders, now going through a growth period in terms of revenues and headcount, as part of the expansion a new role has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager responsible for selling subscriptions of their market-leading SaaS platform into the biopharmaceutical market.
The Role
The role is a managerial position with an expectation on developing and nurturing our new business sales team. You will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of 4-5 New Business Sales Reps
- Delivery of new business sales target
- Developing systems and processes to enhance and streamline sales process
- Motivation and incentivisation of sales team
- Pipeline management and accuracy
- Effective training and development programs to increase skill of team and respond to changes in buyer habits
- Collaboration with Revenue Operations to drive improvements to systems and process
- Effective resourcing to maximise market opportunity
The expectation will also be that the first six months in role is spent developing strong product and target persona knowledge. Successful sales managers will need to demonstrate effective ability to sell the product themselves, as well as develop their team of reps to sell our product.

- 4+ years of SaaS sales delivery and has made step into managing/mentoring sales reps
- Demonstrable track record of delivering sales growth and team target overperformance
- Demonstrable track rep of developing sales reps and furthering their careers
- Strong new business and new logo sales process knowledge
- Genuinely passionate about business and sales
- Highly motivated and driven to succeed
