Event Marketing Manager

£40,000 + Bonuses + Benefits

London x2 days office (Some International Travel)

My client is a global leader within conferences, large-scale events, virtual events, and digital content, keeping them up-to-date with industry trends, technological developments, and the regulatory landscape. Due to growth an exciting role has arisen for an events marketing professional to join the London team.

Responsibilities…

  • Developing outstanding and creative marketing strategies for your portfolio; you will have complete bottom-line marketing responsibility for every event you work on
  • Working across a variety of channels to identify new prospects and increase brand awareness including but not limited to email marketing, social media, SEO and PPC
  • Take the lead in creating and managing long-term and effective partnerships with leading associations, publications and influencers globally
  • Preparing enticing and informative copy from event launch to event end; testing new ways to communicate to our key audiences and reporting on successes
  • Establishing close working relationships with key stakeholders including our expert speakers and innovative sponsors to gain their buy-in to promote our events through their networks
  • Enthusiastically reviewing the impact of marketing campaigns and activities and using this data to identify future opportunities or challenges

Experience Required…

  • 2-3 + years’ marketing experience preferred, ideally gained within B2B publishing, conferences, events, exhibitions or a membership organisation
  • Have a proven track record of effectively managing marketing campaigns including email marketing, social media, stakeholder engagement, media partners, data management and analysis
  • Excellent copy writing across a variety of mediums that excites our community and encourages them to engage with our events
  • A data-driven and commercial mindset with experience in managing marketing budgets effectively and delivering ROI for maximum profit gain
  • Ambition to not only meet but exceed lead and revenue targets, working with the team to achieve this will excite you every day
  • Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
  • Ability to travel internationally when required
