Salary: £28-30,000 dependent on experience + bonus

My client is a strategic insight and convening company focused on surfacing critical intelligence, curating high-level dialogue, and building meaningful connections across healthcare and technology sectors. Due to expansion a role has arisen for an enthusiastic, talented Event Coordinator to work on the international portfolio of events.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-event correspondence with delegates and sponsors.
  • Managing outgoing expenditure and maintaining accurate budgets.
  • Negotiating, liaising and managing relationships with event venues and suppliers.
  • Creating and designing event signage and exhibition floor plans.
  • Sourcing branded items – lanyards, sponsorship inventory etc.
  • Managing dinners, drinks receptions and bespoke networking events.
  • Booking staff travel and accommodation.
  • Managing onsite event teams and event registration.
  • Organising onsite meetings between attendees and sponsors

Qualities, Characteristics, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Ability to use initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task whilst maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers & clients.
  • Good at working and communicating with colleagues on an individual and team level.
  • Proficient at cost management and forecasting.
  • At least 1 years’ experience in the coordination of b2b events for 150+ people.
  • Experience in managing exhibitions/sponsors.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
