Editor & Conference Producer – Investment Publisher
Salary up to £45,000 (dependant on experience)
London – Hybrid – some international travel
My client is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Events Editor to join a B2B media company in the City of London and work across a portfolio of award-winning events & breakfast meetings whilst working on the content & editorial side, strong writer needed to write articles as well as building long-term relationships with their community. The successful candidate will ideally have a strong writing background with content & conference production experience.
THE ROLE
• Project manage each event from start to finish
• Be responsible for events hitting financial and attendance targets
• Conduct thorough community research to develop new agendas and events
• Build and maintain relationships with leading speakers and research contacts
• Writing copy and working with the marketing team to promote on social media
•Working to produce informative and engaging commercial content which resonates with their core audience.
•Interviewing clients and industry experts to generate creative ideas for articles.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and profile:
• 1 + years’ experience producing content for conferences and content-led events
• Ability to research a new topic and get to grips with audience needs quickly
• 1+ years of editorial experience
• Self-driven
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with a team as well as work independently
• Desire to grow personally and professionally
