Is a highly-respected finance title with a twelve-year track record in providing sector-leading content and events for local government finance professionals with a new Net Zero brand recently launched. Through growth they are looking for an ambitious, intelligent sales executive to join us on the next phase of our growth and development.
You’ll be entrepreneurial, well organised and confident enough to speak on a daily basis to senior executives at financial institutions. You’ll have at least 1 year of sales experience and be ready to drive delegate, advertising, webinar and exhibition sales.
Working for a small , friendly company, you’ll be happy to muck in with a variety of tasks outside of your core role, such as: helping out at events, generating marketing copy, delegate telephone contact and general research. Reporting directly into our commercial director you’ll be expected to work 3 days in the office and 2 at home. Hours 9.00 – 5.00
Responsibilities
• Generating and maximising sales opportunities over the telephone, via Teams and face to face
• Prospecting new businesses and growing awareness of our brands
• Building and maintaining client relationships, existing and new
• Keeping up to date with competitors and the industry generally
• Liaising with clients to upsell and implement products
• Attending our own and competitor exhibitions/conferences throughout the year
• Meeting and exceeding KPIs and targets set
• Showing initiative and strong organisational skills
• Work closely with the Commercial Director across all elements of the portfolio
