This would suit a conference producer from the industry (or relevant degree) looking to take on more responsibility. The Role… The role involves topics validation, market research agenda building, speaker recruitment, briefing of marketing, sales and operations teams, campaign oversight and input, copy writing, data oversight, on-site management and strategic planning/execution. Detailed report writing, someone with strong writing skills Community Management, reaching out to speakers/future clients building relationships. The role suits a talented conference producer who is tired of corporate life and is looking for more meaning from their role – but still wants to work for a commercial organisation. Key Skills You will be an event/conference producer and project manager, be content driven and strive to deliver an exceptional events as well as communication flow across the business. A life sciences degree is a must. Previous experience of producing B2B conferences/events i.e. research, agenda build, speaker recruitment in a B2B setting Report writing skills Relationship building/Community Management Experience Strong commercial experience within conference production Creative thinker and problem solver Content driven Ability to spot new trends and implement them in the programme Strong research skills and ability to quickly digest new information Team player who can foster effective partnerships with colleagues Ability to self-manage whilst overseeing teams and projects under tight deadlines Highly organized, self-motivated and accountable
