The client requires an intelligent, experienced, ambitious and pro-active Head of Conference Production, someone with strong scaling experience, validation and who would like to take full ownership of the portfolios whilst managing 7 Conference Producers based in the UK and US. This role would also suit someone interested in launching into new areas.
Overview of the Role:
- Topic generation and verification of topics for new production.
- Research and verify each topic.
- Keep in touch with your industry and proactively network into specific industry areas.
- Ability to have the team producing traditional events in 2027 mainly to Europe and the US.
- Lead from the front; hands-on production skills required ideally from a traditional conference production background.
Management Expertise:
- Looking after a team of UK and international producers.
- Train and develop production teams.
- Lead cross-functional event teams including sales, marketing and operations.
- Successful hiring, training, coaching and mentoring of new producers.
- Drive the production process for each event.
- Co-ordinate the marketing, sales and sponsorship strategies for each event.
- Closely monitor the performance of members of the team.
