Our Story

Media Moguls was born from a simple frustration. As a budding novelist and systems architect, our founder submitted a manuscript through the traditional routes and quickly realised how broken the discovery process is — for everyone. Authors pour years into their work, only to vanish into the slush pile. Publishers, agents, and producers drown in submissions, unable to find the standout voices buried under the volume. There had to be a better way for talented writers to be discovered — and for industry professionals to cut through the noise. Media Moguls is the platform built to solve exactly that. We’re creating an AI-native writing studio for authors, paired with a ranked, risk-checked manuscript and screenplay discovery engine for publishers, agents, and producers. A single pipeline where talent meets opportunity.

The Role

We’re looking for a commercial co-founder to help shape, build, and scale Media Moguls. Someone who understands how stories move from manuscript → agent → publisher → screen — and who can bring the industry insight and commercial leadership to make this platform the new standard.

You’ll bring experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Senior roles in publishing, literary agencies, film/TV development, or IP acquisition
  • Building, scaling, or exiting a company in media, tech, or creative industries
  • Raising VC or strategic investment and managing investor relationships
  • Developing partnerships with publishers, agents, producers, scouts, or studios
  • Evaluating, packaging, or acquiring IP for books, film, or television

You don’t need to tick every box — but you’ll recognise yourself in several of them.

  • Commercial strategy and partnerships
  • Publisher/agent/producer onboarding
  • Fundraising and investor conversations
  • Go-to-market planning
  • Business development across publishing and screen
  • Helping shape the product from an industry perspective
  • Representing Media Moguls in the creative and commercial ecosystem

This is a true co-founder role — you’ll help build the company, not just operate within it.
