The Company
A mid-sized b2b media company with a variety of publications, websites and events across multiple markets. They operate a trusting and autonomous culture with flexible working hours, the ability to work from home at times and even unlimited holiday allowance! They look for self-starters who can really take ownership of their role.
The Role of Senior Account Manager
As Senior Account Manager you will be selling print and digital advertising solutions across 3 brands serving the legal sector. The products include 3 publications of differing frequency, various supplements and the 3 respective websites.
You will be selling to law firms (70% of the time) and those businesses offering services to the legal sector (so tech, training, admin etc). It will be a combination of account management (70%) and new business development (30%). The marketplace isn’t as digitally sophisticated as some other markets so whilst they do sell native/branded content and digital sponsorship, there is also a lot of standard rich media. Whilst print revenues outweigh the digital revenues currently, they are starting a migration towards digital so you will need to be comfortable with, and experienced in, selling all manner of digital inventory.
They have a very autonomous sales culture, with flexible working hours, a working from home option at times and unlimited holiday allowance, so in return they need a sales person who is mature enough to embrace this autonomy whilst taking ownership of their revenue targets. They want sales people who come to them with not just a problem, but their proposal on how to overcome that problem.
