The Company: A global research and insights organisation based in St Albans (near the station) which provides leading market-insight, bespoke research and market-trackers for companies within the consumer electronics, media, entertainment and Edtech sectors (primarily). Existing clients include the likes of Apple, Microsoft, Google, Sky, ITV and many others. They have continued to significantly grow year on year revenues in spite of the pandemic, as the quality of their research and insight is unparalleled in their markets.
The Role of Senior Account Manager: As Senior Account Manager you will start by undergoing intense training in order to help you to understand the benefits and value of the research solutions, market trackers and business intelligence you would be selling / educating your clients on. You will then take ownership of the company's largest enterprise customers within the entertainment and technology space. The cumulative value of these accounts is £3m per year and includes the likes of Apple, Microsoft, Dell, HP, Netflix. You will approach each client with an inquisitive attitude and solutions-orientated mindset to match the available research, insights and expertise to the clients’ requirements. This role will require selling to multiple time zones and include international travel. There are bespoke research solutions as well as 80 product sets which could be relevant to your clients, so there are plenty of upsell opportunities!
Requirements for this Senior Account Manager role:
- 5+ years Account Management sales experience within research/insights or business information
- Proven 360-degree account management experience
- Experience of selling to global entertainment/content or tech businesses is desirable
- Confident, articulate and polished
- Well spoken with a strong education
- Client facing
- Professional and mature demeanour
- You will need to work from the St Albans office 1 day a week
