The Company

A mid-sized publishing and events business with 6 media brands and their associated publications, websites and event portfolios. They have a dynamic, ambitious and collaborative culture.

The Role of Head of Marketing

As Head of Marketing you will be responsible for the marketing of the overall company, its\’ 6 brands (their publications, websites and events) as well as any new launches. You will be a hands-on manager who will be running a small team of marketers who will help to implement your strategy.

Our client is based in Kent – therefore you will be required to travel to Kent on Tuesday and Thursday each week. For the remainder of the week you can work from home.

Requirements for this Head of Marketing Role

  • 8+ years experience of marketing publications, websites and events
  • 5+ years experience of managing a marketing team
  • 3+ years experience within b2b media / publishing
  • Understanding of cross-channel marketing techniques
  • Experience of analysing marketing data, trends and information
  • Articulate, engaging and dynamic
  • Stable career history
  • Proven track record of success
