Commercial Manager / Account Director (recruitment advertising) - leading media company

We are seeking a Commercial Manager / Account Director to join our recruitment advertising department. The successful candidate will have strong recruitment advertising sales experience and be excited at the prospect of being a senior member of a large recruitment team.

The company is a well-respected publishing, information, and events business with a number of market-leading portfolios and a reputation for quality. As Commercial Manager / Account Director, you will be a senior individual within a department of around 10 individuals who sell all manner of B2B recruitment advertising solutions across digital, print, mobile, and social media platforms.

Your role will involve developing and growing recruitment advertising revenues from key accounts spanning Recruitment Agencies, Direct Clients, and Ad Agencies. You will also help direct product development and act as a team mentor, working closely with the Telesales Director.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience within media sales, including strong recruitment sales legacy
  • Strong face-to-face advertising sales experience
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring sales people
  • Driven, motivated, confident, and consultative in approach
  • Stable career history
