As a researcher, you will be working across their calendar, speaking with agents, PR execs, TV & film execs and monitoring industry news. You will provide leading media, fashion, and PR readers with up-to-date information and uncover the latest information on celebrities, influencers and talent across the world of television & film.
We are looking for a graduate with excellent research, writing, and communication skills, ideally with experience in research, television/film, or broader media. You’ll need sound knowledge of the media and entertainment industry and a willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities- Sourcing and verifying information and news on celebrities, influencers, and talent for the platform’s database.
- Working on the Film & TV desk, covering areas such as upcoming film releases, TV shows, premieres, talent, and event coverage.
- Keeping up-to-date and writing on commercial industry news, operating in a high-volume research environment with 50-70+ events researched daily.
- A strong academic track record, 2:1 degree or higher from a leading university.
- Demonstratable capacity for fast-paced, accurate work with strong verbal communication skills, taking ownership of your tasks.
- Strong interest in film and TV; familiarity with transatlantic television, film, and entertainment is essential.
