A well-established international media and events business is looking to hire a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join their high-performing sales team. Known for delivering market-leading conferences across a range of specialist sectors, the company offers an excellent platform for professional growth. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate with some sales experience—internships included—who is confident, target-driven, and eager to build a long-term career in B2B sales. The right candidate will be outgoing, relationship-focused, and motivated by success and earning potential, with a genuine interest in the events and conference space. Your role as a Business Development Executive: Engaging senior-level professionals via phone to promote and secure attendance at leading global events in fast-growing markets Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets. Generating leads and identifying new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth. Communicating the value of event attendance clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing. Maintaining an up-to-date CRM and accurate sales pipeline tracking. About you: At least 6 months’ experience in a sales role, including internships or placement years. Confident, outgoing, and relationship-focused, with strong communication skills. Self-motivated with a positive attitude, resilience, and a strong work ethic. Target-driven and comfortable making outbound calls to build rapport and close deals.
