We’re recruiting for an award-winning, independent healthcare communications agency. It’s small, growing and friendly, with a hands‑on culture where everyone pitches in. The work combines PR with HCP communications, so if you enjoy writing creatively as well as media work and medcomms, it is a rare opportunity to do truly interesting and rewarding work which wins awards.
The role
You’ll be a key member of the account team, working alongside the Director who leads the account and a small, supportive team. You’ll run UK and European PR programmes while also writing and developing content, with work ranging from media relations to HCP‑focused medical communications and education. Therapy areas include ground breaking treatments in insomnia and Alzheimer’s as well as above brand work in women’s health and med ed in oncology. The portfolio spans several therapy areas, from data and regulatory communications through to educational programmes, so no two weeks look the same.
About you
- You’re already working confidently at Senior Account Manager level and can run a UK and European PR account from day one, with room to grow.
- You have strong media relations experience.
- You’ve worked in a smaller agency that combines PR with med comms or HCP comms, or have similar experience elsewhere.
- You enjoy writing and developing content as well as managing accounts, and can translate complex science for the right audience.
- You’re comfortable with HCP communications.
Why join
- Independent agency culture: get involved well beyond account work, in marketing, business planning and shaping the agency itself.
- Everyone helps everyone: senior and junior colleagues work side by side, with a “nothing is beneath me” approach.
- Variety: a mix of content and account work across different therapy areas keeps things interesting and creative.
- Real impact: account teams are small, so you’ll be in the thick of it and make a visible difference.
Working pattern
Flexible, with no set office days. The account team likes to come together one day a week to connect and get things done, so we’re looking for someone who is not fully remote.
