Are you a bright, ambitious graduate with a knack for getting things done? Do you want to work at the heart of a dynamic, growing business where your contribution really matters? Join us at Media Contacts – a market-leading recruitment consultancy to the media industry for over 30 years – as our first ever Operations Executive. You will play a key role in keeping our business running smoothly and efficiently, while gaining experience across multiple areas including operations, technology, marketing, HR, and finance.
This is not your typical entry-level job. You will work directly with our Managing Director (who started in a similar role himself) and gain real exposure to the inner workings of a successful, growing business. You will also support our sister company, Astrolabe Executive Search, founded in 2024, which shares our vision, culture, and office space.
Your work will span all areas of our business:
- Manage our CRM and ensure GDPR-compliant, high-quality data
- Run reports, analyse performance data, and support digital marketing tools
- Keep our HR systems up to date and assist with contracts and policies
- Help make Media Contacts a great place to work by supporting wellbeing, diversity, and morale
- Work with our CFO and external accountants on financial tracking
- Maintain contract records and help manage budgets
- Support marketing activities across social media, digital ads, and email campaigns
- Help craft content, coordinate suppliers, and track ROI
- Manage our website and contribute to creative projects
- Ensure our office is a great, professional space to work and meet clients
- Manage supplies, contractors, health and safety, and visitor experience
