As a researcher, you will be working on their celebrity desk. It’s a fast-paced, data-focused role where you’ll be dealing with inbound custom from celebrities & PR execs and monitoring industry news. You will provide leading media, fashion, and PR readers with up-to-date intelligence and uncover the latest information on celebrities, influencers, and talent across the world.
We are looking for an early career professional with excellent professional research, writing, and communication skills from a fast-paced role and an outstanding academic record. You’ll need a demonstrable passion for the celebrity media & entertainment industry, and a willingness to learn quickly in a dynamic working environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Verifying inbound information and news on celebrities, influencers, and talent for the platform’s database.
- Working on the Celebrity Desk, sourcing and updating celebrity contacts, and dealing directly with agents, managers, and stylists.
- Keeping up to date with, and writing on, commercial industry news, operating in a high-volume research environment with 50-70+ events researched daily.
Key requirements:
- Professional experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and a strong academic track record; 2:1 degree or higher from a leading university.
- Demonstrable capacity for quick turnaround, accurate work with strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to take ownership of your tasks.
- Strong interest in the entertainments and arts sector, specifically the celebrity and influencer sector.
